How can I get involved ?

Who are the Editorial Group?
A group of young people aged between 11-25 who have taken responsibility for writing, reporting, photographing, designing, and promoting for this website. The group meet regularly and make decisions with regards to the content.

We're always looking for new members, you don't need any experience, and all we ask is that you are enthusiastic, committed and willing to have a go.... If you are interested in joining the group, please contact us at infoshop@newport.gov.uk or telephone 01633 255031 / 784054

What's in it for me?
Young Newport is where you can come to get all the information you need.
It allows all of you to upload articles, pictures, videos, designs and publicise events and activities in and around Newport

Join Up
First of all, joining the Young Newport Editorial Group is free, yes you heard right... free. You get to be part of the cool group of people that use this site and forum, and voice your opinion to the world. If you love films, or just know everything that is going on in your local community we want to hear about it.

If your interested in joining the group all we ask is that you download the Word Document, print it out, and get your parents / guardian to sign it if you are under 18 years of age. Once it has been signed, you can pop it in the post to us (the address is on the form) or alternatively you can drop it off at our base at The Information Shop (133 Commercial Street, Newport).
