Young People's Entitlements
IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU!
There are a number of things that we believe every young person in Newport needs so that they can take advantage of the opportunities and choices that come to them. These things are referred to as "entitlements" because they are what the Welsh Assembly Government believes young people should or, are entitled to, receive.
We believe that these rights or entitlements are important to:
- Help you make the best choices
- Gain personal development and enjoyment
- Lead fulfilling lives
As a young person in Newport, you are entitled to:
1. YOUR RIGHTS
To learn what rights are and understand them.
Make sure you are able to claim them and to understand and accept the responsibilities arising from them.
